HRX - Temperature-Regulated Rotor-Stator optimizes deagglomeration, dispersion, and particle size reduction.

Hockmeyer Equipment Corporation, known for building state-of-the-art immersion media mills, dispersers, and mixers, has introduced a new equipment line: The HRX Rotor-Stator.

The patented technology achieves particle deagglomeration and dispersion with a multi-prong approach for temperature control of the material.  With the addition of an auger and a sweep blade, it can process unlimited viscosity ranges. It is offered as a stand-alone disperser, as a component on a multi-shaft mixer, or in a concentric design.

Along with a new product introduction, the company is pleased to announce the expansion of its Elizabeth City, NC, plant. The new space, adjacent to the existing building, doubles the size and equipment offerings of the applications lab, where customers trial equipment. It also has a new state-of-the-art design and production space for the electrical engineering department, an expansive machine assembly area, and  upgraded fabrication and machine shops.

“This expansion will allow us to better serve our clients, expand our product lines, and create local jobs,” said Herman Hockmeyer, owner and CEO.
