Utah—International Paint will become the sole distributor of Polibrid Coatings’ proprietary solventless elastomeric polyurethane coatings products in the United States and the Caribbean, expanding International Paint’s exclusive region in the Americas which will include the entirety of South and Central America, as well as Mexico.
For more than 30 years, Polibrid Coatings has provided solventless elastomeric polyurethane technology used in a wide range of severe service applications. Today, the Polibrid 705 lining system is considered one of the water and wastewater market segment’s premier choice for the protection of concrete or steel surfaces subjected to the effects of H2S and microbiologically induced corrosion (MIC). As a natural elastomer, Polibrid 705 is a replacement to coal tar epoxies and other rigid coatings that will not hold up to the expansion and contraction of concrete without breaking said the company.
