Rohm and Haas Company has been granted a patent for a light-emitting device having a coating formed from a coating powder of a composition comprising a binder resin system, between approximately 90 and 100 weight percent of the binder resin system comprising silicone resin, between approximately ten and 50 parts per hundred resin by weight of a filler selected from the group consisting of mica, calcium metasilicate, glass particles and mixtures thereof, the filler having aspect ratios between approximately eight and 40, and up to about three percent of a silicone cure catalyst.
