Demand for construction chemicals used in on-site applications is projected to increase 4.6% a year to $6.5 billion in 2006, according to Construction Chemicals, a new study from The Freedonia Group, a Cleveland-based market research firm. The study also reports that although overall construction spending growth is expected to slow compared with the previous five-year period, chemical demand is forecasted to grow more rapidly due in large part to a recovery in industrial construction. Construction Chemicals is available for $3,800 from The Freedonia Group, (440) 684-9600; Fax: (440) 646-0484; E-mail: pr@freedoniagroup.com; Web: www.freedoniagroup.com.
