dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether, an
aprotic, inert solvent featuring low
toxicity. The material, which can be
used to replace hazardous solvents
such as xylene, is miscible with water
and organics and offers excellent
thermal, chemical and pH stability. It
is used in the production of waterand
solvent-based coatings as an
azeotroping agent and in paint and
varnish stripping formulations. More
