Axalta Coating Systems will exhibit at the Electrocoat Association's ECOAT14 conference at the Rosen Centre on April 22 – 24 in Orlando, FL. An Axalta team member will also present research findings during a panel discussion.
Joseph Subda, Axalta Chief Process Engineer and E-coat industry expert, will present during the panel discussion at 10:15 am on Wednesday, April 23. Subda's presentation titled, Innovations in Throwpower: Benefits to the Applicator, will focus on recent E-coat formulation developments to improve throwpower and self-limiting film-build technology that should result in commercial E-coat products that better penetrate hard-to-coat areas and densely-racked parts. Subda will also address the advantages and savings that can be gained from this technology. Subda has 30 years of experience in the E-coat industry, has published numerous articles in various industry publications and he holds patents in several countries around the world.
"Leveraging more than 145 years of powder and liquid industrial coatings expertise and more than 30 years of commercial electrocoat experience, Axalta is driven to provide innovative solutions," says Michael Bennett, Axalta's Global Ecoat Director. "Our engineers, like Joseph Subda, work to deliver products that meet the most rigorous industry specification requirements, and that are cost-effective and environmentally responsible. We look forward to sharing our research."
Axalta is proud to sponsor the ECOAT14 conference to help support electrocoat education, technology, networking and to share current industry trends. You can visit with Axalta at the conference in Salon 10A.
