PPG will present its latest commercial coating technologies at the 29th annual National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) convention and trade show Feb. 15–17 at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The show is exclusively for light- and medium-duty trailer manufacturers and suppliers and is considered to be the industry’s leading event. Last year the show drew more than 800 attendees, a number that’s expected to increase this year. PPG will display its array of advanced commercial coatings products in booth 410.
“Clearly, this is a must-attend event for PPG and trailer industry professionals,” said Steve Podlas, commercial coatings brand manager for PPG. “PPG has a long-standing relationship with the NATM and many of its members. We work with them to ensure that our products solve their specific coatings concerns. The PPG exhibit includes a trailer painted with various paint system technologies that exemplify real-life application situations. Attendees are invited to visit our booth and see how PPG coatings, including the DELFLEET Evolution and DELFLEET ESSENTIAL paint systems, can protect their products.”
The NATM was established to help improve trailer safety and performance and to serve as the representative for trailer manufacturers and their suppliers when issues of trailer safety and pertinent regulations arise. The annual convention provides the group’s members with educational, networking and communication opportunities along with information about the latest industry developments.
PPG became an NATM member in 1999 and began its convention sponsorship in 2003. It has worked diligently with the organization and its members to address the continuously evolving manufacturing environment with a variety of coating products that provide superior durability, efficiency and versatility. PPG and NATM also sponsor the annual Green Manufacturing Award, which honors the NATM member that has developed the best ecologically sensitive manufacturing innovation or solution. This year’s winner will be announced at the show.
PPG offers a full range of advanced coating technologies products formulated for the commercial transportation and light industrial markets, including polyurethanes, alkyds, epoxies, polyurea, waterborne, pretreatment chemicals and powder coatings. PPG products are marketed under names such as the Delfleet Evolution, Delfleet Essential, Commercial Performance Coatings and AMERCOAT brands.
