Starting on June 1, polymer flooring specialists Flowcrete Americas will be engaging Carboline USA, a fellow RPM International Inc. company, as a new distributor. Carboline’s sales representatives across the United States will have a complement to their existing package of industrial coatings, linings and fireproofing solutions with Flowcrete Americas’ extensive range of high performance flooring materials.
This agreement will facilitate Flowcrete Americas’ growth in the nation’s construction market and benefit its existing customer network by enhancing its warehousing and distribution footprint, enabling faster turnaround and delivery of materials to clients. Linking with Carboline in this way will allow Flowcrete Americas to leverage Carboline’s strong presence and expertise in the industrial sector to introduce coatings tailored to the demands of these environments. This includes durable, fire-safe and thermal shock resistant floor finishes; antimicrobial treated cementitious urethane surfaces and anti-corrosion floor coating systems.
Flowcrete Americas’ specialty flooring systems, notably the company’s antimicrobial treated cementitious urethane, fast cure MMA, seamless terrazzo and protective parking deck systems, when sold through Carboline's network of sales representatives are to be installed by Flowcrete Americas' network of STAR rated applicator partners.
Flowcrete Americas Managing Director, Dave McNeece, said: “This new distribution agreement means increasing awareness and opportunities for Flowcrete Americas within the US construction market while Carboline will benefit from an enhanced portfolio of construction materials to offer to developers. Whether presented by a Carboline or Flowcrete representative, our specialist systems will be installed by our highly trained and experienced applicator network. This ensures that Flowcrete Americas’ existing customer groups will continue to receive the excellent service, sales support and product quality that they have come to expect.”
Flowcrete Americas, which opened a new headquarters in Spring, TX last year, continues to grow with the establishment of a new sales entity in Mexico, Flowcrete Mexicana, as well as the appointment of a new Latin America Business Development Manager to develop export opportunities. Flowcrete Americas recently announced the appointment of a new Vice President of Sales, Technical Director and Technical Service Specialist as well as a number of new sales representatives across the United States.
