Miller Paint has been making quality paints in Portland since 1890 with a history rooted in creativi-ty and innovation. In honor of the company’s 132nd anniversary, Miller Paint has launched the Northwest Color Collection, featuring 132 curated interior and exterior colors that reflect the spirit and style of the Pacific Northwest region.
The collection will be available starting in July 2022 at all Miller Paint stores in Oregon, Washing-ton and Idaho.
“We’re thrilled to introduce our newest color collection that pays tribute to our region’s natural beauty from the coast to the high desert,” said Puji Sherer, Miller Paint’s VP of marketing, Color & Brand. “The simplified palette makes color-choosing easy and fits our casual and comfortable lifestyle.”
The new Northwest Color Collection includes 132 fresh colors of muted and contemporary hues carefully curated for balance, beauty and harmony, with names including Skier’s View, Gloomy Weather, Silver Lining, River Pebble Gray, Rustic Timber, Soft Sea Glass and Whale Migration. The colors make mixing and matching within the collection effortless, allowing you to create a harmonious palette that is layered, comfortable and uniquely yours.
Northwest Color Collection palettes:
● Whites: From snow-capped peaks to sand dollars along the coast, these whites range from bright and clear to soft and shaded.
● Blacks: From pitch-black skies near Pendleton to an overcast Seattle skyscape, these blacks range far and wide on the value scale.
● Browns: From a muddy hike in Forest Park to a cup of coffee from your favorite local roaster, these brown tones conjure up the best of Northwest living.
● Greens: From Douglas fir branches to sagebrush leaves, these greens reflect the landscape of the beautiful place we call home.
● Blues: From the depths of the Puget Sound to the clear lakes on Mount Hood, these blues range from deep and dark to crisp and clear.
● Yellows + Oranges: Like wheat fields in Eastern Oregon or the inside of a thunder egg from Central Oregon, these bright, earthy colors feel right at home in our region.
● Reds + Pinks: Like the rose gardens at Portland’s Washington Park, these hues reflect a wide range of stunning shades that add beauty and elegance.
● Purples: Whether they’re rainy skies with a lavender cast or overripe cherries falling from city trees, the Pacific Northwest embraces purple hues year-round.
The Northwest Color Collection can be mixed into all Miller Paint product lines, both interior and exterior. Explore these colors virtually in your own home by using Miller Paint’s Room Visualizer tool.
