Beautiful room transformations are possible with small budgets, according to the CIL paint brand. CIL paint recently rolled out the “Beauty on a Small Budget” campaign to celebrate the relaunch of the CIL PREMIUM® paint line. The campaign features a “small film” in which an even smaller room is transformed from drab to fab with CIL Premium paint and a few accessories. Shot entirely in miniature, the film set shows tiny furniture, tiny paint cans and tiny paint supplies, including a paint mixer that stands 8 centimeters tall.
“For many, painting or redecorating may seem costly. We wanted to create something that was fun and showed how easy it is to create a big transformation on a small budget,” said Alison Goldman, brand manager, CIL paint, a brand of PPG Architectural Coatings. “All of the miniatures featured, many of which were created on a 3-D printer, were real and functional, which helped add to the charm of the film.”
CIL Premium paint, available exclusively at The Home Depot, is also launching the “Beauty on a Small Budget Challenge,” a contest that gives consumers the chance to show off their design skills. Canadians are challenged to reinvent, redecorate or refresh a room or household item using CIL Premium paint, which boasts a paint-plus-primer-in-one formula and zero volatile organic compounds* starting at less than $30. Participants can enter by uploading a photo that shows their completed project alongside a can of CIL Premium paint to their Instagram, Twitter or Facebook accounts and using the #CILPremiumBeauty hashtag. The winner will receive a $5,000 gift card for The Home Depot, and entries are accepted now through Nov. 29.
